Compassionate Animal Care
The population in the Sacramento area is extremely diverse. The leadership of C.A.S.A. reflects these demographics. We are committed to providing services to those who need it. We have determined that many have expressed a need for “something different” than what is presently available here, and the leadership of C.A.S.A. has designed programs to fit the needs of the local population. It is also our intent to present our message globally through the internet, Skype and live streaming of services and classes.
Clarity Academy of Spiritual Arts has a dual purpose. First, it is an interfaith church where all are welcome to come and worship. Our intention is to provide each congregant with a place called home (C.A.S.A.) where they can be spiritually fed. Second, we are a Spiritual Academy where students learn empowerment tools which will help them live more compassionate, healthy and fulfilling lives through the teachings of a variety of master teachers, such as Jesus, Paramhansa Yogananda, Buddha, Krishna, Mohammed, Moses, etc.

Instructor Sandi Russi will gently guide students into yoga postures, using inspiration from both Ananda Yoga and A Course in Miracles. Ananda Yoga uses affirmations to assist students in deepening their practice. In a similar manner, Sandi will weave Course ideas into this class as guided by Spirit. The intention is to use the body as a learning tool, while relieving tension and stress, allowing the student to complete the practice in a state of deep relaxation, temporarily releasing body awareness, and experiencing his or her own inner peace with greater acuity. All are welcome — whether new to yoga or the Course. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat and a cushion and/or a blanket.

We're excited to begin our musical theater group at Clarity Academy of Spiritual Arts.
Would you like your children to have an opportunity to act and sing, while at the same time build confidence and become more empowered? Statistics show that children do better in all areas of their lives when they have an opportunity to be involved in theater.
Your kids will learn confidence with acting & singing, and presentation & speaking skills, which improves academics, and learning cooperation within a group, all leading to an awesome musical theater production on our stage with a live band.
This is an 11 week program open to 4th & 5th graders. Some exceptions may apply. Theater class will meet Tuesday & Thursday from approximately 3-6 pm for 11 weeks. The production will be held at the end of the 11 week course.
Please call now to register. We need a minimum of 15 kids to begin. Classes will begin when we fill the class with at least 15 students.

“You know you can’t go wrong with a retrospective play by Kelly and Francoeur! In Everything's Groovy! you’ll celebrate the hippies and flower children of the 1960s. Travis, Muriel and Alice decide to throw a free Music, Beads and Flowers Celebration. A popular singing group, the Lemon Bugs, love the idea and donate their talent. In no time, crazily-painted busses start arriving at Crumb’s Apple Farm, the site of the festival. Everything is going nicely until Mrs. Porter, who hates ’The Love Generation,’ shows up and demands that the local police close it down. If this wasn’t bad enough, two music promoters offer the Lemon Bugs a deal they can’t refuse if they will skip the celebration. Your audiences will love the wildly funny characters like California Cowabunga, who can surf on dry land, Hippie Girl With Flute, who thinks she’s the Pied Piper of Hamelin, and a London fashion designer who plans to release a line of Flower Power clothing. Although the hippies might wear buttons that say ’Never Trust Anyone Over Thirty,’ their hearts are in the right place and the celebration triumphs. Great ’60s style songs include: ’Anything is Possible,’ ’Lemon Bugs in a Lemon Air-o-plane,’ ’Brothers and Sisters’ and naturally, ’Everything's Groovy!’ It’s fast! It’s funky! And it’s groovy, all right. In fact, it’s the best celebration in town.”

This is a GREAT day for kids, and it is an incredible opportunity for our Empowered Kids Program to establish community outreach, and help our program to blossom and grow!
Kids Day in the Park is a broad partnership of health, education and service providers in the community including Cordova Recreation and Park District, Sacramento County, Folsom Cordova Unified School District and healthcare providers such as Kaiser Permanente. More than 100 exhibitors participate, with each providing a free activity for children at their booth. This is a volunteer-powered event.

Kids Day in the Park is a broad partnership of health, education and service providers in the community including Cordova Recreation and Park District, Sacramento County, Folsom Cordova Unified School District and healthcare providers such as Kaiser Permanente. More than 100 exhibitors participate, with each providing a free activity for children at their booth. This is a volunteer-powered event.

Clarity Academy proudly presents the Tibetan monks from Gaden Shartse Monastery's Sacred Earth and Healing Arts Tour 2013-2014. This will allow those interested a chance to experience firsthand the unique culture of the Tibetan people and the rich traditions of Tibet and Tibetan Buddhism. After the tea ceremony there will be a video on Tibetan Buddhism, monastic life, and other related Tibetan culture and history. There will also be a Q & A time.
The Tibetan Tea Ceremony (Serkyem Offering) is a wonderful and delightful ceremony. A bowl and cup are set in the center of a table and tea is poured into the cup. It is symbolic of our lives. When we are open to receive, our blessings overflow.
In Tibetan Tea Ceremony, you don't drink any tea, but rather you chant and bring a wish to be granted, by the Enlightened Dharma Guardians, who are very important protector deities in the Buddhist traditions. The monks will perform this special Tea Ceremony making requests on everyone’s behalf. During the ceremony, each person is invited to participate and make a wish.

The New Year is upon us and offers the promise that we can leave behind that which no longer serves us, and gives us the opportunity to begin fresh and new. Many of us can feel the need to heal through releasing old patterns of some kind. This might be a behavior, a situation, addiction, illness, habit, places, people, etc. The Burning Bowl Ceremony involves writing the negative conditions that you would like to release from your life on a piece of paper. The paper is then burned in the bowl, which turns your prayers to smoke and sends them into the Light.
Its purpose is to release old patterns, beliefs or experiences, or anything that impedes you from realizing your true self. By sending the old unwanted conditions up in the smoke, you clear the way for new beginnings. Please join us for this sacred, time honored ceremony as we close out 2013 and prepare for all the gifts that 2014 brings to us!

Listen for the drums and wear your grass skirts, and leis and then hula down to Clarity Academy of Spiritual Arts for a Luau Bunco Blast!
Bunco is a game of dice, luck, social interaction, and cash prizes. NO skill or experience required. In addition to great conversation and friendly competition, there will be light snacks, refreshments, and a raffle. At the end of the evening five exceptional prizes will be awarded. Individuals can win in one category only.
$20.00 per person in advance and $25.00 at the door includes two drink tickets, light snacks, and 1 raffle ticket. Dinner is additional cost of $5.00 in advance or $7.00 at the door.
