Karen Grace Clarity
My conscious spiritual journey began in 2000 when life re-directed me from wife and mother of 2 daughters, in the 2 story house with the picket fence, and 2 cats in the yard … to divorced, on my own, in an apartment with one daughter just off to college and one angry, resentful, teenage daughter living with me part time.
The universe led me to Spiritual Center for Positive Living in Cameron Park and it was there that I met my teacher, mentor, best friend, business partner, and now my beloved wife, Kim Clarity. It was Kim’s love of teaching Spiritual Psychology through Course In Miracles, Ernest Holmes Science of Mind, Parmahansa Yogananda’s Self Realization, and many other spiritual methods and modalities that inspired me to seek what was seeking me….my true authentic self, committed and determined to live a life of selfless service and devotion while helping others find their way in this crazy world.
My personal evolution continued for many years along with my professional accomplishments. In 2008 I received a Bachelor Degree in Religious Studies from Emerson Theological Institute. In 2009 I became credentialed as a Spiritual Life Coach and Meditation Teacher, as well as certified in NLP and Hypnosis. My career progressed through regularly teaching what I had learned and building a successful coaching practice.
My years of study and devotional practice earned me the honor of being referred to as the Divine Mother of our organization and the new name of Rev. Karen Grace. During 2009-2014 I was Executive Producer and Director of Research & Development for Seeking Clarity Seminars, a series of transformational seminars that Kim and I facilitated.
In 2012, after being on the road for 4 years bringing the integrated teachings of Seeking Clarity Seminars to spiritual communities throughout California, Kim and I decided to dare greatly and open Clarity Academy of Spiritual Arts, an interfaith, non-profit learning community committed to teaching unconditional love and wholehearted living. We acquired funding, leased a building, and began weekly classes, Sunday Service and community events. Music became a huge part of our message and the gift of Dean Vidovich and Adam Roth, our brothers from another mother, along with Kim and I, gave life to “Ripple Effect”….our multi-genre band.
I had some experience with music as a kid playing piano and guitar and singing a little. These awesome musicians guided me to step out of my box and play with them musically. This included singing, playing native American flute, keyboard, and harmonium. I had the privilege of leading meditation every Sunday morning, as well as in our classes, and at community events. My spiritual community recommended me for ordination in 2013 and I graciously accepted this honor from Dr. Angelo Pizelo of Emerson Theological Institute.
I’ve always had a passion for creativity and helping others. College began with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and then took a sharp turn towards spirituality, although my love of plants and nature still continues. In addition to all the adventures in spiritual communities I’ve shared with Kim, I've kept busy over the years as a Hospital Chaplain, Professional Organizer, Massage Therapist, seamstress for Expressions Academy of Dance in Lincoln, caregiving for the elderly, and creating spiritual jewelry and mementos for my company, Legacy Moments.
The highlight of 2014 was marrying my radiant love, Kim, in the most elegantly divine wedding decorated and coordinated by friends and family at our Academy. Then in December 2014, after major health issues that accelerated for Kim, which resulted in financial challenges, we made the difficult decision to close the building. Both of us embarked on a year long sabbatical healing body, mind and soul. The Gene Keys transmission entered my atmosphere in 2015, and since then my life has radically evolved. Shadows transforming into gifts. I am so grateful for my Gene Keys tribe and all the love and support that we have together on this journey of evolution.
2018 will include launching a new jewelry product line based on the Gene Keys. I'm also super passionate about beginning a Parenting Group which will guide parents, grandparents, caregivers, etc to understand the individual nature of their children based on Gene Keys. Every one of my creative expressions is now infused with this sacred vibration; my jewelry, music, dance costumes, coaching, groups and all the other creative ideas swirling around in my studio waiting to manifest Big Magic!
